As Product Manager at Diamond Marketing Group, I led the strategic development and execution of The Junos 2025 New Artist Contest, a digital campaign designed to discover and promote Canada’s next generation of musical talent. I collaborated with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, marketing strategists, and stakeholders to deliver a seamless, engaging contest experience that achieved 2,400 qualified submissions during the four-day entry period.
Project Scope & Execution
I managed the full product lifecycle, coordinating efforts across multiple disciplines to ensure successful delivery:
- Quality Assurance & Security Testing – Conducted internal QA, penetration testing, and accessibility testing to ensure secure, inclusive access and compliance with WCAG standards
- Localization & Asset Management – Coordinated French translations, stock photography acquisition to maintain brand consistency across both language versions
- Integrated Marketing Campaigns – Partnered with third-party vendors to schedule and execute synchronized social media and email campaigns for timed promotional rollout
- Custom Video Content Integration – Oversaw third-party resources for video upload coordination and embedded personalized artist video content, including Instagram clips of each artist thanking The JUNOS
- Analytics & Performance Monitoring – Implemented comprehensive tracking mechanisms to measure engagement metrics, submission rates, and campaign effectiveness
- Post-Mortem Reporting & Analysis – Created and delivered detailed post-campaign reports
Unfortunately, I have no imaging from the contest….so, here are some images from the JUNO award (’94 & ’96) winning band that I was in back in the 1990’s. No, I do not have leather pants.
